ADEXPEDIA, INC. STRENGTHENS MANAGEMENT TEAM
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE - CHICO, Calif., September 30, 2002: AdExpedia, Inc., today announced the appointment of Deb Dreyfuss-Tuchman as Vice President of Business Development, further strengthening the company's management team and enhancing its role as the only provider of patent pending technology that puts print advertisements and circulars into online, searchable databases.
Ms. Dreyfuss-Tuchman's industry knowledge and her strength in forging business partnerships will speed AdExpedia's momentum and growth to achieve the next level of innovation, said John Strisower, CEO of AdExpedia.
Before joining AdExpedia, Ms. Dreyfuss-Tuchman held a similar organizational role at P2i. Her move was motivated by the opportunity to promote deeper Internet tools for print packages in combination with generating retail dollars for partner sites.
"AdExpedia's business model is not a commodity service platform," she said. "They recognize the need to leverage the value of the audience for retailers and newspapers alike through an integrated consumer marketplace. These partnerships place them way ahead of the curve."
Ms. Dreyfuss-Tuchman's extensive background spans 23 years of print and Internet syndicate network sales and management experience at Thomson Target Media/Thomson Interactive Media, Tribune Media Services and the Chicago Tribune. AdExpedia's convergence efforts and plans to generate emerging technology partnerships are enhanced by her prior tenure at the cutting-edge streaming media company Videoaxs.
In her new business development capacity at AdExpedia, Ms. Dreyfuss-Tuchman's role is to follow CEO and founder John Strisower's simple service mantra, "listen to our clients and constantly exceed their expectations."
"Deb complements our executive team by bringing a level of newspaper industry and online media knowledge to an organization already solidly poised to leap ahead of the pack," Mr. Strisower said.
AdExpedia technology is rapidly becoming the standard for integration of print products in the newspaper and retail community. Knight Ridder Digital, a leader in local information on the Web, has adopted the firm's print-to-Internet advertising solutions across their network of 32 newspaper sites. Other major daily newspaper sites include those of the San Francisco Chronicle, the San Antonio Express-News, the Dallas Morning News, the Houston Chronicle and the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. Retailers utilizing the technology include Lowe's Home Improvement, Petco, Michael's Arts and Crafts, Jo-Ann Stores and Meijer Stores.
