The year
2004 was another record-breaking one for Travidia as we
reached new heights in customers, revenue and service. With
several new products, services and employees, we look to carry
the momentum into 2005. Over the past couple of months, we
have hired and teamed-up the best and the brightest marketing
executives to help assist you in your marketing efforts. I am
confident in saying that the level of experience on the Sales
and Marketing team is unparalleled. Coupled with our
tremendous production and support staff, Travidia is well
positioned to help you traverse the intricacies of digital
advertising. We look forward to working with each of you to
reach your goals for 2005.
Since this
is our first issue of The Travidian in the New Year, I thought
I'd take the time to outline some of the broad goals we have
here at Travidia over the coming months. As advertising
continues to evolve in the marketplace and among consumers,
look for Travidia to continue to play a leading role in
helping you identify, reach and develop your customers.
Innovation will be the key. Travidia has long prided itself as
being the leader in shopping channels for our media and retail
partners, so look for an acceleration of new products and
services to help you create new revenue streams. Specifically
we will be focusing in these key areas:
- Building new channels
- Expanding our conversion services
- Building traffic drivers
- Improving the consumer experience
- Creating innovative, forward-looking advertising
vehicles
The common thread in our efforts is to create progressive,
measurable local advertising mechanisms. In essence, we are
helping you create locally branded, nationally distributed
advertising channels. In the coming months, we will get into
more specifics on these pages and our sales and support team
will be contacting you directly to discuss the benefits of
these new products.
As always, please contact us if you have any
questions:

PEOPLE AND POSTS
Travidia has much to be “happy” about in starting 2005!
Fresh from a very successful 2004, we continue to expand
products and services. One of our key initiatives in 2005 is
continued improvement of our customers' experience. To attain
this initiative and to ensure absorption of new clients and
expanded services and products, we continue to develop our
organization.
I am very proud to introduce the promotion of two very
outstanding individuals, Josh Ziegenhirt, Director ROP
Operations, and Anthony Lewis, Director Special
Sections.
Josh Ziegenhirt has been employed with Travidia for over 2
years now and has worked his way up through the ranks. He
started out working in the ROP Department in the Fall of 2002
and has helped create some of the core processes that have
helped the ROP Department be able to expand to handle the
needs of over 70 of our media clients. Due to his success as a
crew supervisor in the ROP department he was given the
opportunity at the management role of our special sections
department in March of 2004. Over the course of the last 10
months Josh has built a reputation for having an eye for
detail and building out a special sections department that has
become one of Travidia’s core products. It is with great
pleasure we welcome Josh back to the ROP department and look
forward to seeing the great things to come.
Replacing Josh as Special Sections Director is Anthony
Lewis. Anthony has spent the last 5 months working within our
outstanding support department, and has had the opportunity to
learn about our clients' needs first hand.
Anthony received his B.F.A. from the University of Oregon
in Visual Design & Fine Arts. He also spent several years
in the United States Air Force where he received numerous
military awards including the Meritorious and Commendation
Medal for Desert Storm. Anthony has also spent several years
as Art Director and Project Manager for the Sierra Games
Company in Eugene, Oregon. Anthony’s experience in team
management and his can-do attitude are an exciting addition to
Travidia’s operations staff. We look forward to the
contributions he can bring to the table in
2005.
