Hopefully
2005 is off to as enjoyable and exciting a start for each and
every one of you as it has been for all of us at Travidia! The
past few weeks have been highlighted by contract renewals, new
contracts further expanding our market-leading partnerships,
and the introduction of key additions to Travidia's Sales Kit
offerings. Allow me to share just a few items with you here,
and to invite you to spend some time with us during
Connections in Dallas for an even closer look at the reasons
for our excitement in 2005!
UNITED STATES (RETAIL):
Meijer Inc.
Meijer
Inc., a highly respected grocery and general merchandise
chain headquartered in Grand Rapids, Michigan, was the first
major retailer to partner with us almost four years ago. With
its 168 stores spread throughout a five state area, Meijer
literally helped pioneer the online advertising industry with
Travidia as we built their market-leading program together.
Many of the functionalities and features now standard in the
marketplace were first developed to serve Meijer's dedicated
customers. We are both thankful and pleased to note that
Meijer has again renewed their contract with Travidia, and
chosen to continue a proven partnership committed to serving
their customers. As one Meijer official succinctly commented,
"The continuation is a reflection of your
continued commitment to advance the service for our customers,
while maintaining a low cost
structure."
Orchard Supply Hardware (OSH)
Inc.
OSH,
with over 80 stores throughout California, and Travidia
recently marked our partnership's first anniversary. In doing
so, OSH not only renewed the existing contract for Travidia's
products and services, but also agreed to significantly expand
those services going forward. By taking advantage of
Travidia's "industrial strength"/enterprise level versioning
capabilities, OSH is greatly expanding the reach and the
impact of its online advertising programs. OSH has also joined
in Travidia's rapidly expanding Syndicated Marketplace
program, where increased leveraging is made possible through
the use of newspaper websites.
Other US:
As this
newsletter is going to press, contracts with two major
organizations have been approved and are awaiting final
signatures. Once implemented, they will represent major steps
in the constant expansion of Travidia's services into the
retail marketplace. We are deeply appreciative of the
professional trust in our products and services these
represent, and shall look forward to introducing our newest
partners to you in a future newsletter.
EUROPE:
Hornbach
Travidia's European office reports a further extension
to its contract with Hornbach
serving approximately 100 home improvement stores across
central Europe. In addition to stores in Germany, Holland, and
Switzerland, we are pleased to announce that Travidia will now
produce an online catalogue for Hornbach's chain of retail
stores throughout Austria.
Other Europe:
Several
nationwide retailers in the United Kingdom have also
recognized the power of the Travidia catalogue product, and
are in the latter stages of evaluation to extend their
existing online offerings. We will gladly share related
updates with you in the weeks ahead.
MEDIA:
Travidia's new Top Ads product has been
well received and is being evaluated by several of our
customers. We invite you to call a Travidia sales
representative (530-343-6400) for more details, and to arrange
a presentation of this and other new offerings from Travidia.
Alternatively, we shall look forward to seeing you the 19th
through the 22nd of March at Connections in Dallas (Booth
#1619) (see our Developments section below)!
COMMENTS:
As you can appreciate from the
above, we at Travidia are indeed excited about our plans for
2005. We're firmly committed to continuing our leading edge
development of products and services, specifically tailored to
our current partners' needs, while welcoming others to join
our market-leading partnerships! Best
Regards,
