ADEXPEDIA GETS DEAL TO CONVERT KNIGHT RIDDER PRINT ADS FOR WEB

AdExpedia Inc. will soon provide conversion of print display advertising for Web sites for Knight Ridder newspapers. The contract between Chico, Calif.-based AdExpedia and Knight Ridder Digital of San Jose, Calif., will take effect over the next few months, according to Paul Wolfe, AdExpedia's vice president of newspaper sales. Several print-to-Internet vendors are vying for newspaper business, which places print retail ads on their Web sites. The ads include interactive keyword searches, e-mail alerts and store maps.
